Why Love? Fall Retreat '09

When some people think of Christianity, they think of a list of "Do's and Don'ts" and run the other way. They are turned off by this expectation of demands and laws. But is that really what Jesus says He's all about? Is Christianity a "to do" list, or something more?

Christians around the world excitedly proclaim of relating to a God of love, whom they love. What do they mean? What is this love they rejoice over? And why would any one actually want to love Jesus?

During the DCF Fall Retreat we're going to ask the question, "Why Love?" by examining the two greatest commandments: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'and 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' (Matthew 22:37-39). Come join us and see Jesus' life-changing love and how that turns our lives upside down.
