In our culture today there are two extremes in how race is viewed. One side says that people of color are inferior because of their race and ethnicity; the second swings to the other side and says that, because of our color, we are royalty. But the gospel offers an alternative hope. All people are made in the image of God, and therefore have inherent worth and dignity. However, the sin committed to us and by us distorts that image. But the work Jesus did on the cross redeems us from our sin and brings us into His royal family. Come learn about the true King and what his gracious sacrifice means for the dignity and experiences of black and brown lives.
